Tiny Orbit / The particulars
Privacy, plainly.
This policy covers the Tiny Orbit website, messages you send us, and the information UNstep keeps on your device. We keep the website simple, and we want the explanation to be simple too.

The responsible studio
Tiny Orbit is the independent game studio responsible for the processing described on this page. For privacy questions or requests, email hello@tinyorbit.lu.
What the server sees
When you visit tinyorbit.lu, the web server records technical information needed to deliver and protect the site: your IP address, the time of the request, the page requested, the response status, and, when your browser sends them, the referring page and browser information.
We use these logs to operate the site, investigate errors, and protect it from abuse. Our legal basis is our legitimate interest in providing a reliable and secure website (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR). The hosting provider may have access to this information to operate the server.
Website access and error logs rotate weekly. The active log and up to five rotated copies are kept, normally covering about six weeks.
When you write to us
If you email us, we receive your address, your message, any attachments, and the technical details needed to deliver it. We use them to respond and follow up. This is based on our legitimate interest in handling correspondence, or on steps you ask us to take before a contract where relevant (Article 6(1)(f) or (b) GDPR).
Messages sent to hello@tinyorbit.lu are forwarded to our Apple iCloud mailbox. Apple may process email data outside the European Economic Area. Apple says its international transfers from the EEA are governed by standard contractual clauses; see Apple’s privacy policy. Our mail server also keeps delivery logs, which rotate weekly with up to four previous copies.
We keep correspondence while it is needed to handle your message and reasonable follow-up, or longer where a legal obligation or claim requires it. Writing to us is optional, but we need a return address to reply. We do not use an email to sign you up for marketing.
Your progress stays with you
UNstep saves your progress and settings locally on your device so you can continue playing. The game does not require an account and does not send that save data to Tiny Orbit. It does not include analytics or advertising trackers.
If you obtain the game through a store, that store handles its own account, download, and purchase information under its own privacy policy.
You can ask us
Subject to applicable conditions, you can ask to access, correct, erase, or restrict processing of your personal data. You can object to processing based on legitimate interests and request data portability where it applies. Email hello@tinyorbit.lu to make a request.
You may also lodge a complaint with Luxembourg’s Commission nationale pour la protection des données (CNPD).
Keeping this page current
If the website or game changes how it handles information, we will update this page and its date. The current version is always available at tinyorbit.lu/privacy.html.
